Stewart Engesser is a writer, film maker, actor and musician living in Kennebunkport, Maine. He has written and produced broadcast and digital content for clients ranging from Maine Coast Heritage Trust and Cape Elizabeth Land Trust to Food Export-Northeast, Wild Blueberry Association of North America, Thos. Moser, First National Bank, Oakhurst Dairy and many more.

Prior to moving to Maine, Stewart lived in Los Angeles, where he served as senior writer, producer and on-screen personality for Unscrewed with Martin Sargent, a comedy talk show about technology and the internet broadcast on Tech TV and the G4 network. Stewart has also written and produced content for Comedy Central, Universal Music Television, and Revision3. His first film, The Cloggers of Putneyville, won Best First Film at Telluride MountainFilm and was recently voted “Best of the Fest” by the board of the Durango Film Festival. His second film, Thwack, was featured in Damnationland, a film festival based in Portland, Maine, and appeared in screenings and festivals throughout the US and Canada.

Stewart’s dystopian comedic workplace novel, The Welfleet Account, remains unpublished.

He was born in Judibana, Venezuela so cannot legally serve as President of the United States, although he could run for President of Venezuela, and who knows, maybe one day he will.
